TRAINING LOCATION:  BLACKSTONE VALLEY BEAGLE CLUB, DOUGLAS, MASSACHUSETTS

PURPOSE:  To present a Course of Instruction covering the following subjects:

·       Carbine setup

·       Weapon inspection and maintenance

·       Carbine operation and accessories

·       Basics of ballistics

·       Fundamentals of marksmanship

·       Carbine manipulations: load, unload, immediate action, remedial action, corrective action

·       Zero at 50 yards

·       Basic standing position, prone, kneeling and barricades

·       Moving and shooting/accelerated heart rate drill

SPECIAL INFORMATION:  The 1 Day Training Course is specifically designed to present a course of instruction to carbine shooters in order to introduce the shooter to practical shooting exercises from tactical experience.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Eye/Ear Protection, baseball type hat, full-length pants, belt, holster and magazine pouches, extra magazines, rain gear, gloves (optional), 250 rounds of ammunition, cleaning equipment.
